Position title: Process Tech, Consumer & Commercial Solutions Division
12 hours rotating night shift, 6p-6a

As a Process Tech in the Consumer & Commercial Solutions Divisions you will report to the Technical Supervisor. The Process Technician monitors, troubleshoots and makes minor repairs on plastic or foam forming machines and auxiliary equipment. They diagnose and make process changes necessary to keep product in specification and ensure quality product is being produced in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities –
Perform preventative maintenance and make regular repair to ensure dependable and safe operation of machines and equipment.
Proficient at troubleshooting and making repairs on all pertinent machines and auxiliary equipment to meet facility scrap and efficiency key measures.
Document and implement corrective actions for part weights and process monitoring.
Perform changeovers for related equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain quality standards for all product in machine cell
Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements.
Perform other duties as required
Minimum Requirements –
Minimum of one-year stable and verifiable work history required.
Demonstrated mechanical capability and a minimum of two-years’ experience in a technical related field required. Technical certificate preferred.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must possess basic math skills.
Preferred Requirements -
Must have working knowledge of hand and small power tools.
Must possess good communication skills to ensure that clear and concise information is communicated as required.
Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals, document and implement work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Must be a good listener, having the ability to receive instructions over two-way radios, and other communication devices.
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to become certified on operating forklift, scissor lift snorkel lift and overhead crane.
