Position Title: Human Resources Leader - CCS
Location: Winchester, VA
Reports To: Sr. Human Resources Manager
Responsible for and provides support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to employee relations, organization development, training, performance evaluations, and special projects as assigned.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Work closely with supervisors to ensure that all policies and procedures are understood, communicated and consistently administered with all associates.
Coordinates the annual factory hourly performance review process.
Recommend solutions to supervisors for factory hourly performance issues and work with them to develop potential areas of training.
Development of needs assessment process and instructional design process to deliver appropriate training for factory hourly associates.
Responsible for providing coaching and assisting supervisors with factory hourly employee issues and concerns.
Responsible for coordinating temporary associate performance evaluation process with supervisors and staffing agency.
Oversee the training program for temporary associates and provide support to trainers either one-on-one or in groups.
Manages the temporary and full-time factory hourly exit interview process. Analyzes data and recommends corrective action and continuous improvement.
Responsible for organizing monthly focus groups and employee roundtable discussions.
Human Resources liaison for Distribution.
Assists Sr. HR Manager with conducting monthly HR 1 on 1 meetings with department managers.
As Chair of the Plant Activities Committee, responsible for developing programs/events that build motivation and retention within the plant.
Complete special organizational projects on an as needed basis.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related area.
Work Experience Requirements:
5-7 years HR experience in a generalist capacity.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments successfully.
Must be a team player and able to work with highly confidential information.
Technical Experience and other Requirements:
Solid PC / software skills and HRIS systems knowledge required. Experience with SAP/HCM preferred.
Superior teamwork and communication skills.
Conflict Management / Planning & Organizing / Initiative & Follow up.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet applicable deadlines.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
