Job summary

As a Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for the development of the maintenance programme of our machinery. Through the development of an effective maintenance programme you ensure that our machines are reliable, available and can be safely operated by spending our maintenance budget as good as possible. Also you will lead improvement teams for further optimization of the performance of our machinery. You will work closely together with the Maintenance Manager, the Technical Specialist and with your colleagues of Engineering.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sets the priorities for Reliability Engineering activities;

  • Develops, manages and improves the maintenance programme;

  • Leads and participates in (technical) improvement projects in order to improve the performance of our machinery;

  • Monitors, analyses and evaluates the machine and maintenance performance;

  • Supports actively in solving complex technical problems (3rd line advice);

  • Participates in new equipment development projects in order to bring in maintenance expertise;

  • Drawing up service and maintenance contracts with 3rd parties;

  • Develops the use of the maintenance management system (MicroMain);

  • Develops and manages the long term development plan of the complete machinery at the plant;

  • Explores and introduces new development in the field of maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Technical Master or equivalent by experience (Engineering, Electro – Mechanics);

  • At least 5 years of experience in Reliability or Maintenance Engineering;

  • Knowledge of Reliability Engineering methodologies (FMEA, RCA, etc.) and data-analysis;

  • Basic knowledge of mechatronic production systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have the ability to understand and report on complex technical problems;

  • You have a vision on how to further develop the maintenance programmes;

  • You easily cooperate with other departments (Engineering, Production, Quality) as well as suppliers;
