Position Title: MRO Attendant
Location: Reedsburg, WI
Reports To: Facilities Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY: Support supply chain activities for plant MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operational) purchasing. Act as the communication hub for plant maintenance to keep information flowing from the customers to department supervision and the technicians so as to minimize downtime and keep the means of production running. Responsible for inputs and upkeep of the MP2 system.
Receive, stock, select and dispense a variety of supplies and tools.
Maintain accurate records relative to purchases, inventory, and work orders in MP2 and SAP.
Order materials/parts required for maintenance work orders.
Kit parts for planned maintenance and project work orders.
Follow up with purchasing and suppliers to ensure order processing is progressing and on any late deliveries to minimize impact on business. Communicate issues and manages same with maintenance and operations team.
Perform stock keeping and transactional duties in crib.
Responsible for all maintenance purchase requisitioning.
Will be required to do MRO inventory, cycle counts adjustments.
Maintain housekeeping standards in regular work areas and storage areas and follows company health, safety and environmental policies/procedures.
Coordinate outside vendor services to supplement in areas we do not have the necessary skills, such as HVAC.
Place/receive orders for unique parts not ordered through the MRO system.
Manage, stock, and replenish inventory. Responsible for inventory fill, turn, and emergency orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
All job functions to be completed in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, company guidelines and policies.
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer: Two (2) or more years related experience supporting maintenance functions required.

Demonstrate knowledge of Purchasing and Inventory Management processes.

Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word and other computer software applications.
Basic computer skills are necessary in the position.
Experience with SAP and/or IMAINT systems preferred.
Familiar with bar-coding/scanning equipment in a CMMS environment preferred.
Experience with computerized inventory control software or CMMS is required.
Basic familiarity with the tools and mechanical/electrical components is necessary for the position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to stand/walk up to 50% of the shift.
Lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to frequently bend and twist and have unrestricted use of upper extremities.
