Position title: Master Data Analyst

Location: Poznan, Poland or Lichfield, UK

Reports to: Customer & Vendor Master Data Leader, EMEA

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Job summary

As Master Data Analyst you will be responsible for the change management processes associated with SAP Customer and Vendor Master Data, while reporting into the IT Team.

You will be responsible for executing best in class master data management principles in order to implement the Global Master Data Management Strategy to sustain and improve the quality of our master data.

Your task is to execute the company’s vision and strategy for global master data management, including key processes, improvements and technologies, for Customer and Vendor Master Data.

You will develop relationships with and support key business partners including sales, finance, customer service, pricing, accounts receivable, sourcing, purchasing and accounts payable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and validate master data add and change requests received through workflow to create/modify customer and vendor master data records in SAP.

  • Maintain the accuracy of customer and vendor master data elements in SAP, including Customer Hierarchy, Sales Team Hierarchy and custom tables.

  • Act as a key point of contact for customer and vendor master related data enquiries for the business.

  • Monitor and enforce data governance processes and data rules to ensure the business is adhering to the data policies.

  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align on master data best practices, and to ensure complex customer/vendor master data scenarios are fully understood and managed appropriately.

  • Provide support and training to educate users on master data, related workflow tools and other solutions/reports related to customer and vendor master data in SAP.

  • Participate in business specific, regional and/or global projects as the master data subject matter expert

  • Serve as key resource to implement key business transformation initiatives impacting the global organization, processes, and technology as it relates to customer and vendor master data.

  • Provide necessary information and communication for customer and vendor master data changes throughout the business.

  • Provide master data extracts as needed to aid business requests, decision-making and to enable accurate maintenance of master data.

  • Monitor data quality exception reports to ensure information is correctly loaded and in compliance with data requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in customer and vendor master data management, Information Technology or Order To Cash

  • Experience working with SAP ERP

  • Fluent in English

  • Able to work across matrix organizations and internationally to deliver results

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

  • Adaptability - adapt and adjust quickly to changes in business

  • Analytical thinker with high attention to detail; ability to perform work to a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and manage expectations

  • Project / Program management experience
