Position title: Financial Planning Junior Manager, Appliances & Cookware

Job summary:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position serves as leader of company’s financial planning & analysis (FP&A), supporting management business decision and proper communication of business performance to local business partners and regional LATAM functions. The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for assessing best practices related to planning process, key performance indicators and system supporting tools (ex. BI). The analysis provided will include Sales and margin details, customer and product specific performance review, sales channel and E-commerce business performance, product cost breakdown and productivity actions, people and spending budget execution, overall P&L performance and variance analysis comparing actual to forecast / plan versions, inventory management, working capital metrics and accuracy, CAPEX plan and execution, and projects evaluation / reviews. The Manager and his staff will define main planning and budgeting guidelines and schedule, aligned with regional function and local Director, and partner with all departments to ensure proper information flow and validation. This position is also responsible for helping to ensure the proper update to new corporate or regional practices.

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis must possess a strong business knowledge, besides financial technical skills. This position interacts with all departments within the company and is a key point of contact to management team. The functional duties corresponding with this position require highly skilled interpersonal capabilities and professional maturity.


  • Leads the financial planning process (short, mid and long term – budget, plan, forecasts, outlooks) in all aspects of P&L, Working Capital and Balance Sheet, CAPEX, and key financial performance indicators with focus on results target achievement;

  • Organizes sales, costing and margin planning & analysis of actual versus budget/ forecast, that will drive business decisions for supply chain and volume / pricing / mix margin realization and improvement;

  • Is responsible for expenses budgeting process and performance with all areas of the company, variance analysis, supports definition of action plans and target setting;

  • Is accountable for Working Capital indicators management and accuracy, supporting company’s cash position and value creation;

  • Manages and reports inventory costing planning and analysis, including aging/turnover indicators to drive actions to improve quality of inventory. Is also responsible for excess and obsolescence analysis and recommendation for accounting reserve review;

  • Has the role as key focal point to all planning version reporting to Regional and Corporate financial offices, in accordance to guidelines, deadlines, system / information flow requirements (ex. NBPlan), as well as support in ad-hoc demands;

  • Provides key results related to sales channel / e-commerce and product category performance;

  • Prepares and/or validates project business cases for capital appropriation requests, in compliance with financial and company standards and supporting decision making process;

  • Prepares and/or revises business review analysis and presentations, supporting Directors in all local and regional corporate performance communication;

  • Supervises master data update and maintenance in all related system interfaces (ERP, BI) to ensure correctness of management business reports (sales, margin, product and customer hierarchy, etc) and accuracy of results and analysis presented internally and externally;

  • Manages the financial planning & analysis team, leading team development and engagement;

  • Supports identification, proposal and implementation of continuous improvement on company processes, including reports, indicators, system implementation proposals;


  • Graduated in Administration, Accounting, Economics or Engineering, with specialization in Finance / Controlling / Accounting areas.

  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written). Spanish language is desirable.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related area (minimum 2 years as management position).

  • Experience with ERPs and PowerBI (or similar BI tools).
