Title: Event Management/Renaissance Intern
Location : Minneapolis, MN
Reports to : Event Manager
The Event Management / Renaissance Intern will work with the Event Management and Renaissance Education teams to deliver innovative, quality events aligned with organizational strategies.
This position’s primary responsibility focuses on event registration. The Event Management / Renaissance Intern must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and command the ability to create and manage event registration websites. The Event Management / Renaissance Intern will also be responsible in coordinating session materials, shipping logistics, event app implementation, mailings and any other projects as assigned. This position will be responsible for tracking and communicating timely reports related to assigned projects. The Event Management / Renaissance Intern will assist the Renaissance Education team with website administration, marketing material creation and distribution, and communication related to resources available to schools to improve school climate and culture.
Travel is required for Event Management / Renaissance Intern to attend the Jostens Renaissance National Conference and Jostens Adviser University in Orlando, FL July 8-15, 2018.
We are seeking a candidate with:
Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new tools and applications
Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work well independently and work in a fast paced environment
