Position Title: Human Resources Manager – HRBP – Appliances & Cookware Division

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Reports to: Regional HR Lead – LATAM

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is an integral part of a progressive management team, partnering on a variety of initiatives including implementing corporate human resource programs and policies to support the business objectives, performance management and organizational development. Additionally, this role will build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, demonstrating awareness of their different needs and backgrounds and serving as a coach for the leaders of the Division.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Partner across the organization. Possess broad knowledge and understanding of the business to assess and drive organizational changes.

  • Manage administration of personnel policies and practices at the location to ensure equitable uniform application and compliance with Federal laws and company policies and procedures.

  • Build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, demonstrating awareness of their different needs and backgrounds.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for recruiting and staffing needs of the Division.

  • Partner with Total Rewards for compensation & benefits administration.

  • Develop and cross train direct reports and guide them in their careers.

  • Identify situations where Organizational Development can be used as a platform to drive change, and influence/partner with the business management to implement appropriate initiatives, achieving measurable results.

  • Possess a thorough understanding of the business and market being served and tailor HR programs to meet the specific needs of the business.

  • Manage the Performance Management and Development Planning process to include annual and mid-year reviews, manager feedback, coaching and facilitation of performance management training.

  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans, conflict resolution and career development.

  • Develop and/or enhance employee development and training programs.

  • Ensure employees compliance with Code of Conduct.

  • Provide HR Metrics and Reporting.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business, Human Resources or related field required.

  • 7 - 10 years progressive Human Resources experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years in human resource management experience, preferably in a commercial environment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of country employment laws.

  • Leadership, coaching, relationship building and effective conflict management skills

  • Experience with leading and managing change

  • Recognizes performance, provides feedback and addresses issues within the scope of the responsibility

  • Effectively adapts leadership styles per the situation

  • Superior communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrates integrity and credibility in all aspects of responsibility

  • Leads by example and models desirable behaviors to represent the organization effectively

  • Works collaboratively both internally and externally building relationships at all levels

  • Experience working with Centers of Excellence and Shared Services

  • Experience working in complex matrix organizations

  • Fluent in English
