POSITION TITLE: Distribution Sales Manager
LOCATION: Jinan or Qingdao
REPORTS TO: Senior Sales Manager
The Distribution Sales Manager’s main responsibilities are executing a sustainable route-to-market strategy for the cities/areas for the Everyday Writing, managing distributors and top accounts for assigned provinces, also collecting and feedback the situation and competition of WACE category to the company. The key objective for this role is to build and maintain the network of distributors & top accounts that to achieve sales and financial targets. These distributors and top accounts will assist in launching and distribution Newell Brands Everyday Writing (WACE) business in China.
Follow the WACE route-to-market development strategy for Traditional Trade (stationary stores), Modern Trade (including stationary chains, Hyper Market and CVS) in order to gain high quality distribution, meet the annual sales target and standard margin target in assigned cities/provinces
Build and maintain a good business network with different level distributors & key accounts via conducting annual business plan, daily operation, business review to ensure the target distribution, coverage and the best in-store execution in terms of pricing/display/assortment and promotion management
Work with Brand/Trade Marketing team to have yearly A&P plan and review and track the plan with best ROI
Work closely with Supply Chain functions to have the good forecast plan and service rate
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably business related field
Strong Field Sales management and distributor management experience, knowledge and skills, minimum 7 years experience in Stationary/ FMCG industry multinational company
2 years above people management & distributor management experiences
Sales or Marketing emphasis preferred
Sales Management Functional knowledge:
Route-to-market strategy execution including pricing
Field Call Management
Modern trade / Key account management
Good influencing skills
Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting etc.
Self-starter and able to work independently
Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details
Verbal and written English communication skills.
Experience of cross channel sales background (traditional trade is must)
Previous sales management experience in a fast growing B2B/B2C companies would be an advantage
