Position Title: ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER - CONSUMER AND COMMERCIAL SOLUTIONS

Reports to: SENIOR MANAGER BRAND MARKETING

Location: GENEVA

Job Summary

Brand Development Management

  • Responsible for brand development activities in EMEA market for all washroom categories including skin care, air care, surface care and fixture categories.

  • Participate in the annual brand planning process and makes recommendations to the Washroom EMEA brand strategy, innovation funnel and product portfolio management.

  • Work in close collaboration with Global Brand Development teams in NA to manage and drive the EMEA Washroom branded and OEM innovations & maintenance initiatives.

Innovation

  • Effectively create and present robust business case through the gate-keeping process aligning management to a brand’s innovation strategy.

  • Articulate concept statements for innovation and uses experience, market and consumer knowledge to prioritize ideas.

  • Ensure efficient collaboration with R&D engineers, factories, supply chain, quality, regulatory and global brand development team.

  • Prepare and implement product launches, monitor & analyze brand performances.

  • Make recommendation on new product pricing, supported by robust data and P&L. Recommends pricing guardrails for key products or categories.

Market Insights

  • Develop deep category knowledge across multiple categories based on competitor benchmarking, market date analysis and key market trend insight.

  • Drive research projects together with development teams to identify future innovations.

  • Know the competitive landscape and ensure the right positioning of our product as well as marketability of all future development.

Sales & trade marketing support

  • Develop business relationships with key accounts and select field accounts. Utilize relationships to gather product insights and market information.

  • Participate in account meetings with Sales team.

  • Development of training materials and support EMEA internal team training needs.

• Four-year college degree, MBA preferred

• 2-4 years of equivalent marketing experience

• Strong analytical skills

• B2B industry experience preferred

• Affinity for technical products

• Exposure to air care and skin care regulatory questions a strong asset

• 15% travel required

• Has worked on a business with global or international exposure.

• Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment.

• Strong communication skills, written and oral.

• Proven ability to work on and lead a cross-functional team.

• Fluent in English and French.
