Position Title: Bindery Team Leader

Location: Clarksville, TN

Reports to: Bindery Supervisor

Job Summary:

Our Bindery Team Leader provides leadership and a high level of skill sets insupport of High Speed Binders, Diamant, and other equipment while supportingprocesses. Uses a combination ofmechanical and computer skills to ensure the best possible reliability andoperation of equipment. Performsadministrative functions that promote the production flow in accordance withpre- set timelines. Shifts availablestaff to account for production variances.Achieves quality operations that are in accordance with required standards,and plant goals. Stages work andmaterials to produce precise quality finished goods on-time and ready forshipment. Ensure the exact preparationof finished goods for shipment including boxing, labels, and skids. Coordinates preventive and emergentmaintenance including repairs, parts, production defects and system problemswith Maintenance and Bindery Supervisor.Reviews reports to verify and track production. Trains others inequipment operation and process improvement.Keeps area clean and hazard free and complies with all aspects of theplantā€™s Safety program.


  • HighSchool degree or GED required.

  • Must haveat least 3 years of relevant production experience in finishing and/or lightindustrial maintenance.

  • Strongmechanical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Goodcommunication skills - written and verbal.

  • Able tofollow written and verbal instructions.

  • Willingto work flexible hours, including shift work, and overtime with short notice.

  • Workswell under the pressure of deadlines.

  • Must haveflexibility to learn and use new technology.

  • Workswell in a team environment.

  • Abilityto stand through 8 or 12 hour shifts.

  • Must beflexible to work off shifts when required.

  • Must havebasic computer skills.

  • Abilityto train others to achieve quality and productivity standards.

  • Complieswith all safety and operations procedures.

  • Must beable to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Excellentattendance record.

  • Must be willing to work a 3rd shift.
