Position Title: FinancialAnalyst

Location: Chicago/Outdoor& Recreation Division

Reports To: Manager,Commercial Finance

The Financial Analyst is accountable for maintaining customer pricing and processing and resolving pricing issues to ensure customers orders are executed in a timely manner. This position will work cross-functionally to identify opportunities to improve and streamline the current processes. This position will act as business partner to the Sales & Finance teams providing information on customer reserves, deductions and accruals.

Responsibilitiesinclude: financial reporting, data consolidations, account reviews and reconciliations, journal entries and process improvements. The individual should be comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization and able to develop positive relationships in order gather information and influence decision making

  • Perform andmanage pricing on all customer’s orders; Works with cross-functionaldepartment to ensure accuracy of pricing

  • Resolvepricing errors and discrepancies daily; Pricing Exceptions and money backs

  • Performpricing audits on a weekly basis. Works with internal Audit team to ensurepricing and exceptions are compliant.

  • LeadCustomer pricing changes and inputs into system

  • Assist withmonth end close, create journal entries, analyze and complete accountreconciliations

  • Support preparation of monthly trade reportingpackages to the Finance department

  • Review and manage customer trade accruals andbalances

  • Work with a high degree of initiative toidentify and recommend process improvements opportunities in the areas ofpricing and accounting

  • Ad hoc analytics as needed

Qualifications:

  • UndergraduateDegree in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred

  • Minimum 1-2years of experience in finance/accounting

  • Exhibits strong personalaccountability & attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with and analyzinglarge amounts of data

  • Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills

  • Demonstratedability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously

  • Ability to learn new financialinformation systems and data and to work between various IT systems efficientlyand accurately

  • Advanced computer skills inMicrosoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint programs

  • Significantexperience with SAP preferred
