Job Summary:

The Associate Sales Manager works closely with the appointed Distributors across South-East Asia and shares the same KPI with those distributors in driving the Writing business to management objective. The liaison role requires all aspect of different but related function: Sales / Distributor Management / Channel Management / Trade Marketing / Product Marketing. This role also requires matured person who could manage, lead and monitor the distributors performing as per Newell Business Direction.

Job Responsibilities:

Quantitative KPI :

  • Sales Target : Invoiced Sales from Newell to Distributors.

  • In Market Sales Target : Invoiced Sales from Distributors to all customers.

  • Distribution Channel Coverage : Number of customers in each channel in the region

  • Branding & Activation : Number of Displays and Brand Contacts through retail channels

  • Trade Marketing Activity : Trade Marketing Program to each channel and customer segment

Qualitative KPI :

  • Distributor Management & Relationship

  • Customers Monitoring & Tracking ( customer under Distributor )

  • Activation to Channel : Market Execution & Monitoring

  • Liaise all share service functions between 2 companies : Supply Chain / Planning / Customer Service / Warehouse / Accounting

Job Requirements:

  • Degree standard.

  • Minimum 6 years of sales experience working with major accounts or trade marketing within consumer goods industry, it would be advantageous to have some experience in the consumer goods category.

  • Knowledge of sales and marketing activities and strategy used to organize and plan for sales promotional activities with nominated accounts.

  • Advanced financial awareness is required to monitor sales results and forecast changes based on trends.

  • Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills.
