Join the best! As our college division sales representative/account manager you will contribute to the growth of the College division by increasing sales through acquisition of new accounts and deepening distribution/penetration within existing accounts. Our sales reps must:

The overall responsibility is to deliver on the divisional business plan within the territory. In doing so, the rep effectively translates the business plan into account specific tactics. The REP is able to successfully advance through the selling cycle in highly political customer environments and effectively manage the balance between sales, service and administrative responsibilities. While this is a sales position, approximately 70% of the role is servicing.
The rep will thoroughly understand the college/university market, B2B selling processes designed to position Jostens as a strategic resource to our customers, and B2C marketing execution including retail merchandising. The rep works with key University constituents such as the President, Registrar, Bookstore Manager, Athletic Director and Director of Alumni Relations to position Jostens as a strategic partner.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
3+ years outside field sales experience (experience in the University market preferred)
Experience with business to business customer acquisition and account management
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
Ability to build strong professional relationships with customers and internal team members
Ability to lead and direct the efforts of a customer facing team
Strong financial acumen and skill regarding profit and loss, planning/forecasting, budgeting and reporting
Strong business acumen, a competitive spirit, and passion for the customer
Strong computer competence with high proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Significant travel within territory is required - approximately 70%, will require overnight as deemed necessary
