Position Title: Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA or Travel

Reports To: Global Head of PEAK PACS EFO

The TPM Engineer (Equipment and Facility Ownership) works to deploy and maintain the standards for Equipment and Facility Ownership, critical components of PEAK required to drive business results.


  • Deliver coaching, training, analysis, and project leadership for Equipment Ownership

  • 6S

  • Equipment Centerlining

  • Autonomous Maintenance/TPM

Deliver coaching, training, analysis, and project leadership Preventative and Predictive Maintenance:

  • Preventative Maintenance

  • Predictive Maintenance

  • Breakdown Analysis

  • Stores and Spares Optimization

  • Equipment Classification

  • CMMS

  • Etc.

  • Support delivery and execution of the Master Deployment Plan for the building of capability and implementation across the organization to meet defined goals and milestones.

  • Support Division, Function, and Site leaders in coordinating, developing, implementing, and tracking their EFO and Master Plans.

  • Develop an overall understanding of PEAK and how EFO links with other PACS.

  • Facilitate meetings, kaizen events and workshops to solve urgent business needs.

  • Track key measures of success for EFO that tie directly to lagging performance measures.

  • Teach, mentor, and coach Divisional, Functional, and Site leaders on how to apply the appropriate roadmaps and tools to a range of priorities.

  • Manage balanced performance measures Quality, Productivity, Cost, Service, Safety, People

  • Ensure a clear “line of sight” is established between the Organization’s Strategy and the objectives of each team.

  • Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual deployment strategies, plans, and tactics for EFO (including plants, DCs, corporate, etc.)

  • Assure alignment of EFO initiatives with the Overarching Strategic Plan and PEAK implementation strategy

  • Build capability and deploy systems to optimize value streams and work processes

  • Work with local leaders, build resident PACS teams, systems, and leaders linked to corporate strategy within the organization

  • Link PACS work groups to prioritized business opportunities

  • Select, coach & train “champions”

  • Teach & support the teams in using problem solving & tracking tools

  • Perform regular & periodic validation.

  • Network with other organizational leaders & to learn and share “Best Practices”.

  • Provide guidance and alignment in support of the global PEAK Agenda

  • Build the capability of the key internal resources needed to deliver on critical initiatives

  • Foster key relationships with various functions

  • Provide analytics and business intelligence to support project selection, root-cause analysis, project validation, etc.

  • Ensure that PEAK work is impacting both results, and the culture change including:

  • Capability building for setting, tracking and problem-solving measures

  • Engagement

  • Linkages of individual and team activities to losses and the business need

  • Ability to travel up to 70% at times

  • Bachelor’s degree; Engineering

  • 3-5 years Supply Chain experience

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and timelines

  • Experience working in an organization with a Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) with a focus on Policy Deployment, Goal Alignment, Education & Training, etc.

  • Autonomous Maintenance/TPM expertise required

  • TPM, Lean, Six-Sigma or equivalent Continuous Improvement (2+ years)

  • Project Management

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

  • Maintenance and Technical Operations

  • Strategic and tactical Autonomous Maintenance/TPM or Maintenance Excellence Sigma experience
