Position Title: Supply Chain Leader

Location: Atlanta, GA

Reports To: Supply Chain Director

Job Responsibilities:

  • Team leader to two direct reports – Demandplanner and Inventory & Transportation analyst.

  • Leading, facilitating and measuring performancefor the Sales and Operations Planning Supply Planning Mtg.

  • Metrics analysis across the region highlightingareas of improvement utilizing the S&OP scorecard.

  • Highlight potential future issues from thedemand and supply picture and lead the team in developing an action plan.

  • Manage key product transitions consideringtiming for key customers and total inventory in the supply chain.

  • Lead process improvement of inventorymanagement, supply management and capacity utilization. Introduce best-in-classprocesses, tools and training to support S&OP.

  • Serve on various cross-functional project teamsas required (Inventory Control, Distribution, Engineering, Marketing, andFinance).

  • Actively participate in sku rationalizationeffort to maximize efficiency and cost.

  • Develops monthly inventory estimates and partnerwith production facilities on monthly volume estimates.

  • Develop and communicate manufacturing and distributioncapacity analysis with recommendations for actions to be taken.

  • Issue purchase orders with vendors for sourcedgoods. Review purchase orders, inventory levels and supplier contracts toassure compliance with supply chain planning strategies.

  • Monitor supplier reliability. Develop actionplans when key metrics are not obtained.

  • Provide leadership to GBU planning andproduction locations on supply chain planning parameters and strategies.

  • Key business liaison to corporate on SAP andInventory Optimization improvement plans.

  • Partner with customer service and operations onunderstanding service impacts to develop action plans to increase on time,quantity and line fill performance to our customer base.

  • Bachelor’sDegree - BS/BA in business, finance, marketing, supply chain or logistics

  • 5-7years of supply chain management experience

  • Stronganalytical skills

  • Strongproject management, process and conceptual skills

  • Demonstratedsuccess in problem solving

  • StrongInterpersonal skills

  • Successworking in a matrix environment

  • Financialacumen coupled with effective inter-personal style

  • Strongworking knowledge of systems (Excel, Access, etc.)

  • Trackrecord of cross-functional interaction preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ConsumerProducts Industry Experience

  • SAP APOand ECC Experience

  • Experiencewith new product development from idea conception through roll out

  • Projectmanagement experience serving as Contributor, Facilitator, and Leader rolls

  • Previouspeople management experience

  • Experiencein a high volume production facility
