Position Title: Senior Analyst-Distribution

Location: Atlanta, GA

Reports to: Director-Distribution & Transportation

Newell Brands launched the Accelerated Transformation Plan to transform to a simpler, stronger and faster global consumer goods company, with portfolio best positioned to leverage its advantaged capabilities in product design, innovation and e-commerce. To support the Plan and its focus on Supply Chain transformation, the Newell Integrated Supply Chain Optimization team is currently being created. This team will operate as central support across all Newell Divisions. This team will drive the Supply Chain Optimization by identifying and deploying best practices and executing projects in close collaboration with Division Supply Chain teams.

Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst will play an integral role in helping the company achieve its goals through data collection and analysis that will lead to productivity throughout the Supply Chain. As an integral part of the Supply Chain Transformation Office, the role will be highly visible with impact across all Newell Brands Divisions.

Job Duties:

  • Analyze data to assist in key decisions regarding corporate wide distribution and transportation productivity

  • Work with IT and business systems to create a database consisting of TM, WMS, Order, and Paid data

  • Assist in Distribution assessments and project implementations

  • Work in multiple businesses to collect and analyze D&T data

  • Influence others with data conclusions

  • Create and implement a methodology to track and present D&T KPIs

  • Ability to travel up to 50% at times

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • A minimum of 2 years of business experience with a background in Supply Chain

  • Experience in collecting and analyzing large amounts of data

  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience (PKMS preferred)

  • Solid understanding of distribution management

  • Project leadership experience participating in complex integrations

  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information to make comprehensive decisions geared towards continuous improvement

  • Microsoft suite intermediate level experience, including Microsoft Project

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to adeptly navigate a complex business environment and influence others

  • Experience with third party distribution management

  • Exposure to state of the art distribution centers

  • Experience with implementing distribution center cost reduction initiatives
