Newell Brands launched the Accelerated Transformation Plan to transform to a simpler, stronger and faster global consumer goods company, with portfolio best positioned to leverage its advantaged capabilities in product design, innovation and e-commerce. To support the Plan and its focus on Supply Chain transformation, the Newell Integrated Supply Chain Optimization team is currently being created. This team will operate as central support across all Newell Divisions. This team will drive the Supply Chain Optimization by identifying and deploying best practices and executing projects in close collaboration with Division Supply Chain teams.

Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst will play an integral role in helping the company achieve its goals through data collection and analysis that will lead to productivity throughout the Supply Chain. As an integral part of the Supply Chain Transformation Office, the role will be highly visible with impact across all Newell Brands Divisions.

Job Duties:

  • Analyzedata to assist in key decisions regarding corporate wide distribution andtransportation productivity

  • Workwith IT and business systems to create a database consisting of TM, WMS,Order, and Paid data

  • Assistin Distribution assessments and project implementations

  • Workin multiple businesses to collect and analyze D&T data

  • Influenceothers with data conclusions

  • Createand implement a methodology to track and present D&T KPIs

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • A minimum of 2 years of businessexperience with a background in Supply Chain

  • Experience in collecting andanalyzing large amounts of data

  • Transportation ManagementSystems (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience (PKMSpreferred)

  • Solid understanding ofdistribution management

  • Project leadership experienceparticipating in complex integrations

  • Ability to synthesizequalitative and quantitative information to make comprehensivedecisions

  • Microsoft suite intermediatelevel experience, including Microsoft Project

  • Excellent communication skills(written and verbal)

  • Ability to adeptly navigate acomplex business environment and influence others

  • Experience with third partydistribution management

  • Exposure to state of the artdistribution centers

  • Experience with implementingdistribution center cost reduction initiatives
