Position Title: Sourcing Analytics Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Reports to: Procurement Project Director
The Sourcing Shared Service Manager will lead a team of 6 Sourcing Leaders and Analysts (2 Leaders will directly report) who will work within a centralized Sourcing Shared Service team with alignment to a multiple categories.
Directly Manage a team of 2 Sourcing Leaders and a larger team of 4 Analysts reporting to those Leaders
Onboard and lead a team of analysts in supporting category teams.
Manage short and long-term objectives of Sourcing Leaders while providing guidance and skills development
“Manage Managers” – oversee the leadership and development that the Leaders give to their direct-reports.
Lead fact-base building efforts for categories
Work with Category Sourcing Directors and Sourcing VP to identify areas of opportunity to accelerate savings.
Partner with segment finance and category teams and lead the effort to finalize spend baseline
Run advanced analytics such as clean sheets (bottom-up “should-cost” builds), Linear Performance Pricing (LPP) etc. to build fact-base for category teams
Support category strategy development
Support category strategy development by running data analytics as requested by category teams
Perform ongoing monitoring and analysis on various markets (commodities, currency, labor etc) to identify leading indicators and opportunities to optimize RFP timing.
Support sourcing events and negotiations
Assist category teams in running the sourcing events
Build bid templates to align with category goals
Run bid and scenario analysis
Update clean sheets and other analytics to support negotiations
Run analytics to evaluate supplier award scenarios and sourcing trade-offs
Codify best practices
Codify sourcing best practices and disseminate throughout the organization
Work with Sourcing Leadership to report-out progress in regular meeting cadence within the Sourcing Organization and to various function leaders.
BA/BS degree in Finance/Engineering/Mathematics or related technical field
MBA or MS Finance/Engineering/Mathematics or related technical field preferred
6-10 years of applicable experience (Sourcing experience preferred)
People management experience (management of teams of 2+ preferred)
Previous experience with Consumer Products company preferred
International Experience Preferred
Extremely knowledge-able about data management/manipulation and tools such as Excel, Tableau, SaaS
Advanced SAP experience preferable
Knowledge of global sourcing processes and strategies, including direct and indirect
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to synthesize complex data topics into format that is share-able at a high level
Comfortable working with multiple functions/management levels
Effectively prioritizes multiple demands and heavy workload
Good at context switching and a fast learner
Proven track record of results in a fast-changing environment – execution oriented

Approximately 10-20% travel required
